The Learning Nest Tutoring Contract

1. Program Overview The Learning Nest provides individualized tutoring and academic support for grades K–12. Tutoring is offered through monthly memberships or weekly pay-as-you-go scheduling.

2. Membership Options (NEW) Monthly Membership guarantees the same day, same time, and same tutor weekly. Memberships auto-renew on the 1st each month or the 1st and the 15th. • Reserved weekly slot • Consistent tutor • One reschedule per month • Priority scheduling Membership Rules: • Auto-billed monthly on the 1st • Card on file required • One reschedule per month, must be used within the same month • Non-refundable monthly fee • 14-day written notice required to cancel

3. Pay-As-You-Go Option Non-members schedule weekly, first-come-first-serve. Payment due when booking online. Reschedules not guaranteed.

4. Attendance Policies • 24-hour notice required for cancellations, If the student is sick or there is an emergency a reschedule may be offered, if not the full session is charged • One reschedule per month for members • Sessions end at scheduled time even if student arrives late • Students arriving after 10 minutes marked absent

5. Sick Policy: Keep students home if fever, vomiting, or contagious symptoms are present. Tutors may send home ill students.

6. Payments & Billing Membership Families: Auto-billed monthly; declined payments must be resolved within 48 hours. Drop in Families: Payment due after booking. Unpaid invoices pause sessions.

7. Accepted Payments • Card on file • E-gift cards • Cash in labeled envelope placed in The Learning Nest mailbox

8. Tutor Responsibilities Tutors prepare lessons, take notes, maintain communication, and keep tutoring areas clean.

9. Parent Responsibilities Parents ensure attendance, communicate schedule changes, and pay invoices on time.

10. Assessments EASYCBM assessments completed every 4–6 weeks and shared with families.

11. Behavior & Safety Students must follow safety expectations. Parents may be called for dysregulated behavior.

12. Liability The Learning Nest is not responsible for injuries resulting from unsafe behavior.

13. Termination Services may end if payments are late, policies ignored, needs exceed services, or safety issues occur.

14-day notice required for membership cancellation.
